The twelfth Salsa y Otra takes over the five-star Hotel Kaktus Playa in Calella for four days across the Ascension weekend, run by Caroline and Rock'Caliente. The hotel is privatised for the festival, with full board, a rooftop pool and the beach a hundred metres away. Forty hours of classes cover Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, bachata, kizomba, styling, cha-cha, rumba and reggaeton. Three party nights, one of them at a private beach restaurant two kilometres up the coast. Coaches run from Aix-en-Provence for those who want them. The 2027 lineup had not been announced when this listing was written.
