Raices Cubanas Festival

Raíces Cubanas takes over the Seadust Cancun Resort in the Zona Hotelera for five days in September, sold as an all-inclusive package: hotel, workshops, parties and concerts in one price, with payment plans available on the early presale. The 2026 edition books two Cuban orchestras, which the organisers say is a first for them: Los 4 and Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor. Around thirty workshops fill the days, alongside a pool party, competitions and shows. Teachers announced include Ivancito Camagüey, Nick and Serena, and Wilmer y María. Each night carries a theme and a dress code: Jungle Night, a White Party, Changó Night in fire red, and a black and gold gala to close.
