Bailar en Cuba is the one festival in this guide that happens in Cuba itself, and it is a street festival rather than a hotel event: the thirteenth edition of the Festival de la Calle, held in Havana in July.
That distinction matters more than it might sound. Everything else listed here brings Cuban dance to Europe or North America, with the venue, the teachers and the crowd assembled for the occasion. This is the thing itself, in the city it came from.
The 2027 edition has not been announced.
